Konstantine Chavchanidze, head of Outdoor.general electric advertising company states that advertising companies receive 30-35% of revenues from tobacco business marketing and advertising.
Konstantine Chichinadze told Business Deal that if the smoking cigarettes advertising is blocked, advertising sector must fire many workforce, because the companies will lose considerable part of gross income.
“About 35% of revenues are elevated from tobacco companies. If tobacco products marketing is banned, this could be a serious strike on top of our business together with our conditions is going to worsen.
As a result, our company will not? able to maintain the previous staff and I suppose that we will have to reduce salaries too. We all and other advertising businesses will have to deal with agonizing developments”, Konstantine Chavchanidze noted.
